New Service Standards for Inflammatory Bowel Disease launched.

NACC has been working with six of the key health professional societies to develop a national statement of standards that NHS services should meet. The Standards have been published this month and were launched at a reception in the House of Lords on 11th February 2009 to raise awareness among Parliamentarians and Government officials. Similar receptions are taking place in the Scottish Parliament and the Welsh and Northern Ireland Assemblies to draw their attention to the Standards.

You can help by writing to your MP, MSP, Welsh Assembly Member or Northern Ireland Member of the Legislative Assembly to encourage them to attend and to support the implementation of the IBD Standards after the launch receptions..
