WILLing to help?

Supporting NACC through your will

NACC exists to improve life for all people affected by these incurable illnesses but less than 15% of the cost of our services is met by membership subscriptions which are deliberately kept to a minimum. The remaining costs are met by the kind generosity of our supporters.

There are four ways in which gifts (also known as legacies or bequests) can be left to NACC:

a pecuniary bequest – this is a specific sum of money

a specific bequest – this is a specific item such as a piece of jewellery, shares or even a house. Several specific bequests can be made if you wish to give more than one item

a residuary bequest – your residuary estate is what is left after payment of any pecuniary or specific bequests, debts, taxes and expenses. You may leave a share or the whole to NACC

a reversionary bequest – this is a gift to a member of your family or a friend for them to enjoy during their lifetime and which passes on to NACC after their death

Gifts may be given

for NACC’s general work

for a particular area of NACC’s work such as research or support

for a specific project
